Exploring Brain Cancer Clinical Trials with Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Centre

APBTA brought together clinicians from across the region for a knowledge-sharing session on brain cancer clinical trials, featuring researchers from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou.
On a Saturday afternoon in September, clinicians from the National Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS), the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), and across the region gave up their weekend to attend a session that, by all accounts, was well worth it. Organised by the Asia Pacific Brain Tumour Alliance (APBTA), the Clinical Trial Sharing Session featured Dr Guo Chengcheng and Dr Xie Haoqun from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou, who presented seven noteworthy brain tumour clinical trials currently underway in China.
The presentation was followed by a Q&A and discussion on next steps, opening the floor to a broader conversation about how these research developments might translate into collaborative opportunities across the region, whether through joint trials, shared learnings, or new treatment pathways for patients who need them most.
