APBTA Launch
The Asia Pacific Brain Tumour Alliance officially launches, uniting patient organisations across the region in a shared mission to improve outcomes for brain tumour patients and their families.
The Asia Pacific Brain Tumour Alliance (APBTA) has officially launched, marking a significant milestone in bringing together patient organisations across the region to collaborate on advocacy and support. This marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to improve outcomes for brain tumour patients across the Asia Pacific region.
The Story Behind Our Logo
The APBTA logo brings together three colours, each carrying meaning that reflects who we are and what we stand for.
- Blue represents the medical and scientific foundation of brain tumour care, evoking trust, stability, and the clinical expertise that underpins everything we do. It anchors the left hemisphere of the brain graphic, nodding to the neurological nature of our work.
- Green represents hope, renewal, and community. It fills the right hemisphere, reflecting the human side of our mission, the patients, families, and advocates who come together in the spirit of recovery and resilience. It speaks directly to our commitment to building communities across the region.
- Orange is the spark. A high-energy colour associated with warmth and action, it bridges the brain graphic to our name and embodies the word “Igniting” in our tagline. It is the passion and urgency that drives brain tumour advocacy forward.
Together, the transition from deep blue to vibrant green to warm orange also evokes the Asia Pacific region itself, the blue of its oceans, the green of its lands, and the warmth of its sun, a reminder that while our member communities are spread across a vast and diverse geography, we are united in a single purpose.
